CSA members may pay a discounted rate in exchange for a partial workshare: a commitment to volunteer for two, four-hour shifts during the CSA season. Workshare members pay $120 per seven-week session (spring or summer) instead of the usual $168. That is a discount of $48. Workshare days will be busy, but also include the chance to spend time outdoors, on the farm, with friends and family.
Every year, we work with multiple interns from the WWOOF program. If you are interested in a long-term, unpaid internship (room and board provided) at Oak Hill Farm, contact us through our profile at WWOOF-USA.
Are you interested in volunteering at Oak Hill Farm? Volunteer projects may include weeding, cleaning, trailblazing, fencing, general repair, or other work. Exact projects depend on your skills and the season. We are open to working with individuals, families, or groups. In addition, we can sometimes work with students to develop special projects for academic credit through their home university in collaboration with faculty. Possible project areas include: community farming, community supported agriculture, hunger relief issues, soil science, organic farming, and ecological/environmental education.
